Devery.io is developing the Devery Protocol, a decentralized verification platform that enables marking and tracking over the Ethereum network. The protocol allows manufacturers, brands, retailers and any other party to assign unique signatures to any products, services or digital goods sold, issued and traded online.
It targets 3 key weaknesses in existing processes: Secure Distribution - if a supplier does not honor terms of distribution, items can be marked as illegitimate Counterfeiting Protection - Items can no longer be counterfeited before purchase Supply Chain Transparency - Businesses can opt to provide location of their products throughout the supply chain
Consumers now have the ability to ensure the item they have purchased online is legitimate before it is posted. This removes the traditional problem of having to trust retailers online to provide legitimate items as the consumer can check an item’s validity using the Devery platform before purchase.

Devery is developing a protocol to enable anyone to provide verification services. This allows a market for different verifiers that specialise in particular industries, as opposed to one verifier that controls the marking process. Our understanding is that wabi, vechain and Walton chain have patented chips and/or require their particular teams to facilitate the tracking process. Our project does not require us to do that per se. Anyone can build a verification application on our protocol and earn fees doing so via EVE. This allows applications to be tailored for the special needs of particular industries as opposed to a one size fits all approach.
