Buy if you like high marketcap along with no product and pure hype.

As I understand it they are pitching themselves as "the most secure blockchain". They aim to be the backend of choice for very large transactions or applications that require additional security like electronic voting.

They claim to be the only team that has been published in the journal Cryptography and their unique marketing point is that the team is made up mostly of academics. They don't have a working product right now but they have a pretty reasonable roadmap

expect it to dip hard. exchanges have very low volumes of ada which has caused the inflation of price.

Great marketing, but the dude behind (Charles Hoskinson) is extremely sketchy. I would advise to be careful and not go all in on this coin.

It's like The Emperor's New Clothes, whitepaper is allegedly so hard to understand everyone just assumes it's amazing, even if there is no product.
I'm all in and never read it myself though.

Unlike other devs Cardano team is the only one who publish in the journal so other professionals in the field can look it through and make their opinion about it based on their knowledge. For a simpleton like you cardano white paper is too complicated to understand, but for professionals which opinion matters the most its spot on.

it's kinda similar to ethereum's yellow paper, lots of pure math.

roadmap update in 8 days, it will pump in about 4-5 days.

Well the main dev is the co-founder of Ethereum so that's that.

I like the project and think it has huge long term potential. I am also retarded and bought when it was close to $1....trying to weigh lost opportunities of holding my bags vs. selling for a loss

High marketcap with slow growth potential but this is one of the few cryptos that will survive the bubble pop. Basically it's a 'techy' coin. They are trying to make the best coin in terms of technology and have all code verified by independent companies and Universities. Cardano is aiming for perfection and have one of the strongest dev teams in the crypto world. Could think of this like a pension fund; slowly invest in it over time and it will continue to grow and make you money.

People please be aware only 2% of all cardano is on exchanges at this time. The marketcap is far above its true value.
