None exist that are as revolutionary as FUN.
Other 'provably fair' casinos are individual casinos that can't be adopted. FUN is for mass adoption and gives casinos complete freedom.
If I have the option for 20 decent casinos using FUN and I can share my tokens between them, or one individual casino, I'm going to the FUN casinos.

Honest question, why do you all expect FUN to moon from the ICE booth?
Even if someone is interested in using it, it shouldn't influence the price all too much, right?
EVEN CONSIDERING that hundreds of people may see the booth, it seems very optimistic to expect anything even resembling a moon.

>> No.6860018

>>6859923
ICE has over 15000 participants on average
8500 of those are representatives of gaming and gambling companies
If literally one decent casino puts money in after ICE, this goes 5x instantly. We went from 3c to 19c in the span of just over a week with absolutely no news backing it and it didn't dump (until Korea fud and consecutive market crashes).

Most cryptos rely solely on investors to increase the value of their coin. This one has casinos on top of investors, and a whale isn't going to beat a casino that literally doesn't give a shit about the market cap and just throws 2% of their holdings at it because they want to buy in while it's cheap. Once any investor sees that, there's going to be so much fomo it's retarded

Why does everyone think the casinos will have to buy their fun on the open market? FUN has 6 billion coins in holding, isn't this to help seed casinos starting out?

It's not like someone is just gonna put 20 million in crypto and buy out the orderbook on Binance to start a casino it makes no sense.

>> No.6860617

>>6860473
That's literally what they will do. Anyone can make a casino, they just need tokens.

The 6 billion is for when developers start getting paid to submit their games when that option is opened up later in the year. FUN might make some contracts with devs and give them FUN in exchange for publicity or something, maybe, and will hand out casinos coins, but that's only under rare circumstances. FUN also plans to do coin burns, so they need to have coins in the first place to do that.

For the most part, going onto Binance or some shit and buying out the orderbook is exactly what casinos will do.

If FUN can put their games on machines in Vegas or Atlantic City, it might huge then. Don't think the beta version is that different from other casino games. They need to have good quality games to draw people in. Like PS4 quality graphics, lots of variety of games with better music than the one on the site.

I feel like I've played these games somewhere else.

>provably fair casinos already exist tho
If you're talking about websites that advertise themselves as provably-fair but don't run their games through smart contracts, they still require trust. Provably-fair RNG does not necessarily mean the gameplay is provably-fair. Provably-fair RNG alone is only verifiable for the player after the fact, meaning that only after each play will the player be able to check if the generated "random" number is legitimate or used properly. Even if a casino is producing a true random number, the way in which that number is implemented (the game logic) in calculating a final outcome may be manipulated, if that number is used at all. Of course if you know how the number should have been used, you'll be able to see that you've been scammed (assuming you bother to verify each result on your own), but this doesn't change the fact that provably-fair RNG doesn't guarantee you won't be scammed in the first place. FunFair uses smart contracts to make it clear that both the RNG and manner in which said number is used is fair before even playing so that there is zero possibility of being scammed. Players know the exact rules for which the randomly generated number will be used and it can't be manipulated.

Other smart contract gambling exists, but they do not have the benefits of FunFair's product (one example from a player's perspective is that FunFair's games are much faster and cheaper to play due to FunFair's implementation of custom state channels).

Ive seen estimates of the online gambling industry here (around 60bil by 2020 i think)

We know that how the FUN tokens operate, we can assume that more volume (or turnover) is better for the coin, as the utility give it its value.

Now take into account that if you sit down on a blackjack table with $100, play for an hour (admittedly, thats a long session), you could have potentially turned over thousands of dollars (or FUN) after playing multiple hands and going up and down up and down.

So Ive come to the conclusion that the 60bil dollar figure is inaccurate in trying to determine just how much is in the online gambling industry.

Its much, much more

The ecosystem itself utilises FUN tokens to function. IRT what casinos want to show on the front end, they will most likely choose FIAT

So no, your not wrong

>> No.6863231

The prevailing hypothesis is that FUN will be utilized on the backend only. Joe gambler may not even know FUN is being used. He just clicks the fiat amount he wants to gamble, the program translates it to FUN, then back from FUN to fiat when he cashes out.
