Absolute brainlet here, what's stopping someone from shorting a bitcoin with 100x leverage on Bitmex and longing one bitcoin with 100x leverage with 100x margin on a different account with a different IP address? You would break even, except if the price stays exactly the same. Then you'd lose everything. It's like putting 50% on red and 50% on black on a roulette wheel. You'd either break even or lose it all if it falls on zero (green)
