So I had to run a credit check on myself today because of a background investigation.

I find out I have a credit score of 2. No joke, an actual score of 2.

There is nothing derogatory or outstanding listed, or shown as ever having existed.

The Credit Card that I am an authorized user on is current in payment.

So I am guessing that I have no real credit history.

My question is why the hell do I have a 2 instead of a 0?

Get your own credit. You are a 2 because your a signer in your moms account.

He's a underage dipshit but you can have a zero score if you have nothing.

500 is a derogatory score, you don't start out effectively negative you start with nothing.

Mine is a 447. You can go under 500. 2 is impossible, as far as the US is concerned, though.

I learned when I was 22 that even though I had never had a need for a credit card that I should have had one anyway

Made it hard to get a car, make larger purchases etc n

Interesting I would have assumed that other countries had their own credit ratings and systems.
