I remember reading, that by design a single wallet can only process 6 transactions per second. This is due to the proof of work required in order to send a transaction.
This is an issue for exchanges so I imagine Kucoin is testing a solution to avoid another Bitgrail dilemma. Honestly I'm not fussed if Binance listing takes another month, better to get the launch right than to rush a buggy release. This coin solves so many of the problems faced by bitcoin, and although it has its own problems. Once XRB has been stress tested a bit, it will prove to be one of the best coins for exchange pairings. Rai Exchange will change the game and you will see XRB reach the top 10 by market cap.

My guess is there'll be a spike as soon as it's listed and then binance will disable withdrawals like it did with IOTA which has suffered similar issues (and which had a fucked wallet for months last year). If/when that happens it could languish for a while
