I have a brainlet questing about day trading. Assuming I'm wanting to sell at the top then buy low... don't alt coins fluctuate with the price of BTC? So if I sell at 1200 sats then rebuy at 900 sats assuming the price of BTC dipped as well, how am I even gaining anything?

My primary goal is to accumulate as much ETH as possible. So I don't even look at an coin's value against the dollar, I look at ETH ratio. I trade to increase my stack, confident that ETH's value will continue to rise. Just need to watch out for when the big boys go on a moonshot, because that usually causes a coin's ratio against ETH or BTC to drop. Best of luck anon
