Do you understand what's being done here? They're fixing all the problems with cryptos. It's not gonna be just another currency, it's gonna be an open protocol for any value transfer, just like the internet is for data. It can co-exist with fiat and improve it instead of trying to replace it. It provides a global, open and immutable platform for any and all transfer and storage, value and data alike. IBM was the first one to understand the value of this, and this is what they're doing.

What about the value of XLM? Well, since the network is practically guaranteed to be exponentially adopted within 1 or 2 years, the appreciation of XLM will surely rise as well. It's baked in as the necessary token to operate the network and it's the base asset.

/biz/ doesn't understand the importance of an open protocol. Would TCP have become popular if it was owned and patented by a single entity and didn't allow free use? There can only be one protocol for value transfer and it's not gonna be one that's slow and doesn't allow the flexibility of moving anything but its own private tokens. If any crypto is gon a survive the long term it's this one.

It can't be "fixed" and if somebody can't afford a single XLM at 5$ they can just buy less. I'm not sure if you're retarded but I'm giving you a serious answer anyway this once.

Well, IBM is not actually associated with fairx, according to their recent tweet

No, and why should they be? This is not an all IBM show, this is the gathering of all the players who are interested in an open, fair and cheap protocol.
