Anyone else notice what's going on? There's literally zero fresh capital pouring in. All we see now is intra-wealth transfer.

When WTC released news, VEN began dumping. Once WTC news was confirmed flimsy bullshit, VEN began pumping again.

Then NEO started moving yesterday. ICX and VEN dump. As NEO recedes they will increase again. Not to mention, total market cap has hovered around 700b for what, 3 weeks now?

Under this new paradigm, HODL is officially a meme.

I think this is a big part of it. Even coinbase had registrations shut down for a few days. Ultimately this is a good thing. The alternative is that the december market kept going, and you would've had bitcoin up to over 30k followed by a massive panic sell that pushed it below 5k. Throttling new traders allowed the btc price to stabilize around 15k

He's right. New wallets mean nothing. For the most part, you can bet 3/4 of those are created for faucets.

you are all mostly ignorant to the fact that new money in crypto is still dwarfed by the OG whales. that have already accumulated significant amounts of bitcoin. and if the whales signal that its time to move back into the top alts and then into btc, the amount of new investors trickling in this point cannot even scratch the surface

Exchanges need to clear the backlog of ID verifications for new accounts. It will take 1-2 months for new money to enter the crypto market.

I also believe that at this phase in the crypto market, people are going to start trying to pick the one coin that will ultimately be used in commerce worldwide, rather than chasing a bunch of pyramidcoin pumps. Large corporations announcing support for a coin is going to be the most important factor in the market. Most coins without usage in the real world will be sold and that money will flow into coins that are used to transact real goods and services.

We will also see the gradual tokenization of everything else of value in the economy. Stocks, bonds, real estate, gold, silver, etc.
