You have it backwards, anon.
Privacy is not a buzzword, it actually is a good use case for the tech behind crypto. All the other coins shilling a "decentralized X" but also shilling a "partnership with large company", those are the coins that will not survive the bubble burst.

I know it's oversimplifying, and there are some projects which are difficult to assess, but people really need to stop thinking in the traditional business mindset to get the most value out of technology like this.

I don't think so, but ENG is supposed to solve the problem with privacy and it does exactly that. RLC is supposed to solve the problem with computational power. They have different purposes and works better together.
