Imagine the economic benefits of a world with vampires.

>vampires work night, humans work day, thus doubling productivity
>humans can make money selling blood to vampires
>vampires don't need retirement funds because they are immortal, thus increased consumer spending

I think overall it would be a net win for vampires and humans.

This economic model only works if you have exactly the same amount of pure day/night hours. vampires can only go outside when there is zero sunlight, making summer work an unrealistic idea. Humans can wake up early in the dark and go home in the dark or fading light. Vampires can't do this

Humans already work nights and sell blood. Immortal vampires would lead to a population crisis.

Hmm I thought you could only donate blood?

People sell plasma.

It would become very regulated. Also the fact people could use people as a food source becomes problimatic

To mitigate this they'd probably live in windowless buildings with direct access to underground transportation, and work in vampire offices below ground.

Its more likely that humans would be factory farmed for blood, but you can't really speculate vampire ethics.

Vampires can walk around during the day, it just hurts their eyes when the sun's glaring.

You'd be surprised how many people will let you suck on their neck for blood, too. Hmm...actually. Your fantasies sound more exciting than reality. Please continue.

We could create Vampire Transportation systems, including completely dark buses and such.

Then they would be restricted to strictly white collar/indoor service sector work in a heavily populated urban area (possible in the Northeast where cities have subways and shit). Any sort of agriculture, heavy industries, construction would be off limits to them

How do I make money while I browse 4chan all day?

>> No.627513

Immortal vampires would become the world's most powerful people. When then average person may only work 8-10 hours a day, vampires could constantly learn everything all the time. They would have no limits
