i might have to go back to firefox on desktop though, because brave fucks with gmail and freezes for like 3 seconds every time i go to the address bar, which is pretty annoying

On desktop I still need an old Firefox version for some add-ons, and last time I checked, Brave was lacking some add-on compatibility, it's still a work in progress after all. But as soon as that is done, I will probably switch there as well.

I am. Loving it. It could use some more extension, but I still have Chrome installed if I need something I rarely use. The extensions will come. The increase in speed is well worth switching.

I use it on my desktop as well.
I also search the internet with DuckDuckGo. One day I just had it with the Google monopoly over the internet so I thought I've gotta start using alternatives or I'm going to continue feeling shitty about myself lol
I've been happy so far with Brave. I'm not really interested in whacking a zillion add-ons on my browsers so Brave is great.
DuckDuckGo still needs some work unfortunately. Google is the king when it comes to localized searches.

I did before I got sick of how shitty it was. Go into a different window for like five minutes, switch back to the browser and its locked on the single tab. Cant switch tabs at all.
You can drag a tab out to make a separate window, but you cant drag it back to make a single window. Also like a dozen processes running at time using as much memory as firefox.

The adblocker was god tier though.
