Should I actually pay my student loans or just let them destroy my credit because it won't matter if i'm crypto rich?

i've had mine for almost 6 years since i've paid so i'll just wait one more year and they'll be gone from my credit report history
paying them now would just reset the credit history timer and keeping this debt is good for tax purposes.
