So, I'm a little confused as to why this wasn't exploited more, but I decided to give it a shot today and it worked out well.

I noticed the large difference in XRB/ETH prices on Kucoin and Bitgrail (~41 XRB/ETH on Kucoin, ~48 XRB/ETH on Bitgrail), so decided to sell my stack of XRB on Kucoin for ETH, transfer the ETH to Bitgrail, and then buy XRB with that ETH.

All in all, I increased my stack of 700 to 790 doing this. I know Bitgrail isn't everyone's favorite exchange, and XRB withdrawals are currently disabled (but should be fixed "soon"). Is this the only reason why everyone hasn't arbitraged the hell out of this? For me it's not much of a concern since I plan on holding long term, but I guess I can see why you wouldn't want to do this from a daytrading perspective.

how long did xrb deposit take on kucoin? apparently takes long

The reason why the gap exists is because of how long it takes to do it

Thats what you get for using a shitcoin.
My Neo got from Binance to Kucoin in 5 minutes with 0 fees.

RaiBlocks is constrained in the number of transactions per second per wallet. For this reason exchanges are having issues setting it up, since they normally just keep a hot and cold wallet for each coin.

It's not an issue. Exchanges just need to set it up so they dynamically spin wallets up or down.

It's the exchanges processing that determines most ofnthe speed not the coin

Not as long as I feared. I panicked after I requested the withdrawal because of what others were saying about Kucoin ETH withdrawals taking days, but it was transferred to Bitgrail in about 30 minutes. Not awful. I read that Kucoin recently increased their gas price so maybe that helped.

I might have just been lucky then. It took about 30 minutes all in all.

I don't know the exact amounts but theirs limits to daily trading on bitgrail I think, that and transfer fees etc right

>> No.6254333

they already cracked down, and no new user regs

>> No.6254469

it works, but there's a few issues.
one is the prices can change while you're transferring.
bitgrail is a terrible exchange.
withdrawal limits cripple your ability to keep doing it.

you can get a good profit on it, but often you'll get your funds stuck on a crappy exchange for a few days
