Pretty important. You should probably diversify after 5k or something into a few different cryptos. Don't diversify too much because that's messy. I'd say the magic number is between 3 and 6 different cryptos.

And when you diversify always keep some money in the giants -- BTC, ETH, LTC, XMR, etc. When an inevitable market-wide dip happens (like we just experienced) these are useful to weather out the storm and buy alts on the cheap. Never go full altcoin.

Depends on your goals and stack. If you want a safe, moderate increase, diversify after you have a few thousand dollars to play with.

If you want to swing for the goddamn fences, go balls deep on a handful of coins.

But if you are a richfag, you MUST overdiversify shitcoins because of liquidity or only invest in top coins.

Yeah I'm overdiversified. I've gone from 10k to 100k, and have 18 different coins. I'm not negative in any of them, and it's hard to let go, because it's just a matter of time before they moon.

I'm looking to sell off:

FUN - got in at 1 cent

CVC - bought in, was neg for a while, now looking at -37% in BTC, but +140% in fiat

TNT - overpaid for it, underdelivered, but good project and moon is getting closer

TRX (bought 15k when it was .002 cents), not matter how low it goes I'm still up ~1.5k

NAV - good project, this coin just doesn't fucking move. There is NO marketing for this coin whatsoever.

Also thinking of selling UFR, SNOV and QLC. I've made decent gains, but I only have about 1.5 eth invested initially.
