Don't forget, your shitcoin is chained to Bitcoin. If the bubble bursts a drybleeding will commence which will take your portfolio down 90% or 100% no matter what it is.

Ethereum isn't safe from this in any way and is fully reliant on the illusion of sustainability that can be easily destroyed in one black day.

BCH trading pairs will be activated on major exchanges this month. Once this happens BTC is fucked.

It's outdated and slow. In a few years Eth holders will be using the same store of value argument against new coins. Technology isn't even the central thing in all this but the total market caps not being able to grow exponentially anymore.

>> No.6221097

Just buy EGAS and hold it...13mil max supply and the price is sub $0.10 - at $1 it will only be 13mil market cap and even if it turns out to be a scamcoin thats still 10x returns.
Take a look@ https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethgas/

You're talking about BTC right?

>Eth holders will be using the same store of value argument against new coins.
May or may not be true, but thats irrelevant right now. Ethereum is better than Bitcoin so it and BCH should and will dominate the market for the forseeable future.

Bcash is entirely pointless which can't be said about Ethereum.
The problem with /biz/ is that everyone here thinks all this magic money comes from a magical place where there's an infinite amount of it and nobody stops to think that crypto might actually be in a fad phase right now and this could all very easily collapse very fast if Bitcoin does poorly and the news will talk about how people who invested in Bitcoin lost everything, 24/7. Normal people would not see this as an opportunity.

>Bcash is entirely pointles
How is it pointless? It's basically just the original Bitcoin with bigger blocks. It is superior to the segwit fork Bitcoin Core/Legacy in every way.

Most valuable tokens/coins are paired with ETH at this stage, and soon they'll all be paired with BCH. Have fun being a loser.

Bitcoin is valuable because it's Bitcoin, the first cryptocurrency. If you bought Bitcoin at any point in late 2017 and a lot of people did you own no Bcash.

The market doesn't care about sentimental value, it will move on and choose the superior technology with the best service and value.

>The market doesn't care about sentimental value

It absolutely does in Bitcoins case though. Bcash can't compete with superior altcoins since it doesn't do anything.

No it does not, which is exactly why it's been losing its share of the market ever since ETH came on the scene. Pic related. You're living in denial.

>Bcash can't compete with superior altcoins since it doesn't do anything.
Do you even know what Bcash is? How is Bcore better in any way? Hard mode: sentimental value means nothing.

It doesn't matter how BTC did, does or will go against ETH.

The point is that the value comes from it being the first cryptocurrency that all the other ones are based on. Bcash cannot inherit this value because and offers nothing new to the market.
