Wait so if I store my coins on a ledger nano, does it lock my coins in at the current price right? I bought eth when it was 300$, if I send it from an exchange to binance now, do I only get 300$ worth of Ethereum, right? What a scam

It does if you send it to your own Ledger, you have to send it to someone else for the peer-2-peer blockchain to work. If you send it to my address, it will remain the ETH-value instead of dollar value, because it'll see it as a p2p crypto-payment. Just send it to me, bro.
