> Kodak announces ICO, stock jumps 44%
> Kodak is today announcing a partnership with Wenn Digital to create a “photo-centric cryptocurrency” that will “empower photographers and agencies to take greater control in image rights management.” Because why not. It’s 2018.
> The company’s stock jumped 44% on the news and is currently trading at $4.30, up 37.60 on the day.

Because most of you are underage: Kodak used to be an important analog photography company. It's pretty much dead nowadays.

nobody other than kodak will accept their coin, it'll just be like the reward points/loyalty card shit we have already

if people want to interact with the actual real crypto market they're going to need to accept bitcoin, or be a token on the ethereum network.

i actually see this playing out like what po.et wants to do if its done correctly

You can do it with literally any crypto, nobody needs this shitcoin. This is only one of many proofs that ICOs are a fucking scam and we are in the middle of a HUGE bubble. Can't wait for this shit to crash hard...

kek I was wondering about this my self. We got japan foto here and a local shop. The only reason to go there though, is to have some wall papers/big pictures made and to buy frames and such. And everything is on memory card and stick today ofc. I remember them being big though, I mean to recall they had shops here in the 90ies and so
