FUN isn't a memecoin, even though people make FUN memes.

FunFair is headed by Jez San, who revolutionized video games and online gambling (google him). They have a proven team comprising of people like David Greyling, who was a director from UK gambing giant William Hill, and Stefan Kovach, who headed marketing positions for PokerStars and bwin.party.

FunFair has developed their own state channel technology that allow fast, instant bets that are provably fair and players avoid paying fees for every bet that they make. Other blockchain gambling coins are slow and make you pay fees for every wager. State channels also help with scaling, since only 2 on-chain transactions occur per gaming session (one at the start, and one at the end). These turing-complete state channels are literally the first of their kind on Ethereum. They have a showcase of games that anyone can play right now, some of which are currently running on Ethereum testnets (and the games actually look good, unlike the shit UI's used in other blockchain casinos).

FunFair's goal is to license their games out for anyone to customize and host their own casino for free. Casinos will need to buy FUN tokens to pay out wins and jackpots and players will need to buy FUN in order to play. I'm afraid to shill FUN too hard because I'm still trying to buy more at the moment. It's amazing how ignorant people are about the potential of this token.

What I will say is, the entire FUNFAIR gaming system is designed to drive up the price of the tokens as more people play. That is the ONLY way anyone profits off the games. There is no "house edge" - it's all about making the coin more valuable. FUN is designed to be a crypto economy unto itself.

The main reason i like this coin is because it's not just smoke and mirrors like 90% of coins out there. "hey we're gonna be the next eth!" "hey we're gonna be the next ripple!". Nope they're actually trying to carve their own path in the blockchain era, which is risky because on the other hand jumping on the bandwagon is guaranteed gains, but remember that amazon google and apple became huge because they did their own thing not because they followed what other people where down.

this. it's nice to see some creativity with what can be done with the technology. the only thing i'm having any concern with is overall potential of the coin itself. i see the company making large gains from gambling, but i would suspect the coin is something you would want to keep stable. i don't think the profits of the gambling assets would figure into the coin's worth...am i wrong in thinking that?
