I am looking to invest thousand or two a month on some Vanguard funds, mixed between High Yield Dividend Funds and some retirement funds. What you think is the best /biz/?

Maybe one of the assorted Vanguard High Yield Dividend Funds.

As for retirement, depends on how old you are. No sense in putting money in low risk stocks when you're not gunna be using the money for 35-40 years.

Just do VOO.
The dividend funds have higher fees and the yields aren't that good. S&P500 will beat them.

I am in my mid 20s. I just remembering reading several articles that was stating that that historical S&P 500 returns of I believe of 8 percent was deceptive in that you need to reinvest dividends and if you did not do that, you would have a much lower return.

Some asshole told me that Vanguard ETFs can net you 10% roi (sometimes more) yearly. Was that guy being a faggot?
