Newbie question: how do you guys handle wallets? I just learned that I kind send my ETH to my Electrum wallet because it only supports BTC, and apparently most wallets only support a few coins at most. Does everyone here just have several wallets they use, or is there one you can use for any coin?

basically yes, for most coins you need a seperate wallet. however tokens you can store in the same wallet, check out myetherwallet

What do you mean by a pilot transaction? Is it just sending the smallest amount possible to make sure everything's alright, or is there some way you can check the validity of your transactions without actually sending money?
