metal engraved seed phrases are NOT a good idea
In the case of a search and seizure, it can't be destroyed to prevent glowies from getting your coins
unironically the best place to store your seedphrase would be on paper with ink in an old book or something

Could always use a steel pen
then it would never fade and won't fade overtime
rewrite your phrase on new paper every 5-10 years and wallah

You just need to keep it hidden in plain sight.
I'm studying Japanese for example and I like to write down Jap words and their English translations on a textbook. The words of my seedphrase are written in there. Even if someone gains access to my textbook for some reason they would never be able to figure out that my seedphrase is written somehwere in it

we are still in the early "visionary" stage
notice that is also the stage with the most rapid curve of adoption. We are indeed still early and 100k Bitcoin is indeed cheap as fuck compared to where it will be at the top of the adoption curve or even at the end of this adoption stage

how about a book cypher with the codes in paper thus absolutely non digital version being spread across your house and your families
but of course only you knowing which book is necessary
since the phrase itself is meaningless and not an actual sentence even with modern computational means cracking this should be hard, no?
