Would it be possible to get an actual thread about what any of this shit does without memes? I mean the actual reality of why anything in the top 20 is worth ANYTHING outside of just “number go up lol”. Like what purpose does XRP, ADA, XLM, TRX, SOL, BNB, DOGE, SHIB, TON actually serve? Yes I’m a LINK holder, get past the shitposting memes please I will swap to something else if the actual usefulness and reason for the existence of these coins can be elaborated on at all. Can we have some kind of actual /biz/ thread?

Link holders are basically the equivalent of kamala harris supporters. That's my best explanation for you.

>> No.59277828

>>59277822
Checked but completely meaningless. I’m not asking about holders, I’m asking about the other coins that are pumping and above LINK. What does XLM do for instance? What is it doing and why is it pumping so hard? People are seeing value in it, but what is the value?

>> No.59278039

>>59277828
Alright anon I'll bite. For the record I held all 3 xrp, xlm, and link, recently sold link. Imo there's 2 things going on here. First XLM has the Mastercard and Franklin Templeton partnership. FT literally said XLM is reducing their transaction cost by 99.75%, look it up. So if XLM is reducing cost XRP is as well with all their partnerships. Partnerships are fake and gay altogether and used to build hype but the utilization is coming. Secondly, and imo most importantly is alot of people fail to realize that from roughly 2018ish the SEC was weaponized pretty much against everything except for BTC and ETH. Ripple gets the most attention but look at the Coinbase and Binance lawsuits, most coins were direct competitors of ETH. So during the last years ETH and anything on ETH profited significantly. What we are seeing now is America actively wanting to be first in crypto. Coincidentally, and I'm still actively researching this, but from I can see most if not all coins that are running are American stationed or found by a Westerner (DOT).
Xrp, xlm, doge (elon of course), dot (british). All these coins were suppressed by the SEC, except doge (pow) so to me we are finally seeing them catching up with the market after 6 yrs. My opinion, like I said I'm still researching

>> No.59278056

>>59278039
When I say doge (elon of course) I mean he's not the founder but def plays a part in it running, the founder is american

>>59278039
So I guess under the fall-of-Gensler narrative, ETH will continue to stagnate. Would you consider it invalidated if ETH catches up to XLM/XRP?

>> No.59278225

>>59278168
I could be wrong, ETH has so much backing, we could very well rotate everything back that way, but more and more im starting to think its unlikely. It's becoming more political, was Hoskinson the best pick for whatever role he's playing? Probably not but Trump is def not picking a slav after all the Russian shit that came his way. Btw i know SOL doesn't fit the criteria I listed previously but it obvious as shit it was heavily connected to the current administration(ftx massive campaign donations). I'm pretry sure they are dumping billions sometime in 2025 so personally I think its one big exit and after 2025 SOL will die.

>> No.59278242

>>59278168
All in all the whole Dino coin narrative is the biggest fud narrative of this alt season. None of these coins were actually dead, they were still being actively developed and pretty sure stayed in atleast the top 20 over the years.

You can buy things with DOGE, it's pretty decentralized, it's PoW which some people still care about, and it occupies a space in oldfags minds so will always get attention.

> Franklin Templeton today announces the Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund (FOBXX) (the “Fund”) has surpassed $270 million in assets under management (AUM) as of March 31, 2023. The Fund’s transfer agent maintains the official record of share ownership via a proprietary blockchain-integrated system that currently utilizes the Stellar blockchain network for transaction activity. The Fund is the first U.S.-registered fund to use a public blockchain to process transactions and record share ownership, and is available via the Benji Investments app.

Literally says it costs them a $1 for the transference of a transaction, so 50k for 50k transactions. On stellar network those 50k transactions cost them $120.

>>59278039
>FT literally said XLM is reducing their transaction cost by 99.75%, look it up.
That Franklin Templeton guy said this at Smartcon.
Let that sink in.
FT has been experimenting with a bunch of chains, Stellar being one of them.
And they are very clear about using Chainlink to connect them all.

The more you look into this, the more ridiculous Stellar's leapfrog over Link becomes.

>> No.59279279

>>59279242
Yes, the market is blind. Chainlink is literally the hub for all this shit, XLM is a one of many sitting on top of Chainlink for these firms. So to see any single one at a higher valuation is entirely laughable.

Xlm will be used to airdrop ubi to ukrainians and beyond. It is, in fact, already a retail type of cbdc. As ukraines physical financial structures are destroyed they need a ready to go decentralised solution. Xlm also has velo built on top of it and is being used in asia. Tokenization, payments etcc all on stellar and or ripple. How do i know this ? Follow the glowie mccaleb and his projects, look at the symbolism of the logo. Saturn = cube worship = crypto yews from greater khazaria. I would not be surprised if "they" announced it can be used in space and one of them becomes x platforms currency etc.
