It's a new paradigm, and everybody who doesn't buy, now, will be priced out forever. Anybody who does buy will be rewarded with a lifetime of riches, as their bitcoin will continue its 30% monthly price increase.

Nocoiners, and anybody born in a future generation, will not be able to afford a $10,000,000 satoshi in 15 years. They will live in tent cities, and Hondas.

This asset bubble is different than all of the others - it will never slow down, or pop. The gains are permanent.

i just stated buying btc, quite a lot, everyday, since yesterday.

my friend who is deep in crypto is recommending that i stop for now, wait for the dip, and buy the dip, and then resume DCA. meanwhile, i should buy ETH

thoughts on his advice?

You don't know how to tell a dip from the start of a downturn.
You don't know how to tell whether this is a top or the start of a bull.
You don't know how to time the market, and any advice that relies on your ability to time the market is dumb advice you should ignore.
Your friend's clever advice to not only time the market, but also tactically put your money in a shitcoin at just the right time to make bank is entirely inapplicable to you. You will lose your money.
You should have started buying BTC a long time ago, but you dragged ass until FOMO got you going. Fine.
If you believe Bitcoin's long term trend of exponential value increase will continue, then just DCA and ignore the volatility.
If you don't, and you think you can just time the market, well.. good luck.

Post your lightning addresses retards. No one is going to send you onchain btc because how troublesome that could be

Why would he even send them anything at the first place

>> No.59193892

>>59193862
The benefits of putting a lightning address is that you might receive a bit of dust from anons that want to tell your numerically how much they care about your plight.
Doing it on chain means slapping fees of very roughly $1 per transaction, orders of magnitude higher than what they'd intend to send.

I do believe in it and I will continue DCA

I will buy 75% BTC and 25% ETH

i started on monday. it's not complicated at all. you can start out on a platform (like coinbase), but veteran anons on here recommend buying a wallet you can keep your crypto in so you are actually in control, in the long term.

regarding eth, my understanding (according to what my friend is saying) is that it's also on the rise, both in the medium and long term. but i am still extremely new.

yes, just hodl and never sell until selling would mean lifechanging money.

and even then, you transform your life, increase your income, and re-invest back into crypto.

at least, that's my plan.

i want wifechanging money so i can retire my mother, and have 3 wives.

I moved out to TX to be closer to my son. Bought a car with some previous icp gains. Said car has broke down. I can repair it for a little under $2k. I'm not sure if I should do that or buy another one for $1k as I'm broke and back to walking my son to school. But at least the summer heat has died off.

I assume people say that because it isn't being used much. But this is what the mempool looks like right now. There isn't much reason to send bitcoin all the time for most bitcoiners, who are quite rationally more interested in holding it. There are other scaling solutions/layers besides lightning, but even as a bitcoin maxi I don't have much reason to look into them yet. The point is that bitcoin has all the time in the world to develop various scaling solutions, and despite the shitcoiner narratives to the contrary it was never some kind of existential issue for bitcoin clearly (to not be able to have all transaction in the world on the base layer). It is a quite valuable use case to simply hold bitcoin, and there is no valid economic argument saying otherwise. The years and years of shitcoiner narratives saying that bitcoin was going to be flipped because it isn't as good for daily spending purposes (going back as far as 2016 or earlier?), has been completely for nothing. Its like Trump winning despite the lamestream media attacking him as an evil nahtzee super villain since 2016 yet him still winning again in 2024 despite their efforts. That's what narrative bankruptcy looks like for both the opponents of the orange coin and orange man alike.
