Newfag here, how do you guys convert what you bought in at in USD /EUR/ETH to SATS? Why do you go out of. Your way to say "I bought in at 5000 and not 67c?

You see OP, most altcoins are traded against btc or eth, they dont have fiat pairs. So the only way to make gains trading those alts is to look at the actual fucking value they are trading at. Whether you are trying to increase your btc stack or stack of alt it doesnt matter, trade off the fucking value its paired against!

If you use btc pair to buy a coin you should measure gains in sats If you are gaining sats you are makibg a profit
If you are losing sats while usd value is increasing you are still in loss since you'd be better off just holding btc
