Gold will continue to be line go up (Because China/India/Russia will continue to buy the real thing by the hundreds of tons and the US will continue to print fiat money)
Silver price will continue to be suppressed by COMEX jews until some saudi prince decides to do a little trolling.
The end.

Why woudl you ever stack something like that

Too rare, and the metal loses liquidity. If no one wants it, you can't convert it into goods, services or other forms of liquidity. A lot of coin shops won't even buy the tertiary metals like platinum or palladium as it is.

Gold have been in uncharted territory for a while now, so it will continue to slowly go up and test it's limits. All indicators are in the green for gold : more global tensions, more wars, more uncertainty, more ponzis spooping ppl away from digitalized (((assets))). A lot of billionaires have been cashing out their stocks lately.

But for silver the $32-33 range is a very important resistance point who have been rejected multiples times this year, but also during the 2010-2012 silver bullrun. If we manage to hold a bit, silver will most likely break higher pretty violently and settle for the next resistance point around $38-40. So this week might be the time it happen, but if it doesn't and the $33 get rejected again, we will dump back to the $29 support (which seems to be the new low point).
It might be the good one this time around tho, because silver have been in stealth mode for a while now, yet the prices continued to climb and create new supports even with zero bullish news (neither on the industrial or extraction side), zero coverage, and even complete boredom from the stackers' side + ppl only having eyes for gold. Which mean there is an underlying momentum pushed by larger forces who want to keep silver under the radar but forcing the price higher nonetheless.
At least that's what i'd say if i was a TAqueer.

Oh no no, my PMs ain’t going nowhere baby girl. I was just thinking about what stocks to stick my pickle in that seem trustworthy in a short term (few months to 3 years), and moreover things that are in some way/shape/form associated with PMs since I doubt anyone will stop mining for shinies anytime soon. I was thinking about fucking around with crypto if/when the next crash happens to make a bunch for stacking additional PMs when they inevitably moon back up to dozens/hundreds beyond than their low buy points.

My friend was telling me he put a bunch into that SOL or whatever back in 2022 when the shit crashed down to $8. He got a bunch for like 13-$14 only for it to moon to like $210, but he used low buy and high sell botshit supposedly which I have no idea how to do. Not to get off topic, but I would dump at least 30-40% of that gain right back into metals. It just seems like such a nice ideal situation to have a bunch of crypto or market investments as a buffer like some anon above said, or just some to slowly buy cheapy silber or something with over time while keeping that buffer stable.

Sorry if I’m rambling a bit here, just sick of being in the tax bracket I’m in. I got blessed with some metals and some other shit recently but came out of a very low poorfaggot state and never want to be that way again. Doing all the stockpiling and market research + networking I can.

I bought my first gold coin but im from the EU and bought the coin from the UK. Everything was fine until the post office is like "doh! this is valuable and need a broker to pay extra fees cause non EU lol" so i bought the coin for 510euros and now gotta pay another 430 just for extra fees. I learnt a lot about the procedures with this but DAMN was that made so unnecessarily bothersome.

No biggie anon, practically everyone who gets into precious metals for the first time do some blunder. When I got my first couple of gold bars I had no idea that they weren't treated as coins so don't have the benefit of them being capital gains tax free. Tried to swap them with Royal Mint but they were like "Oh no we can't do that. What you can do is sell your gold back to us at 4% below spot price so you can buy the gold coins you want". That incentivized me to check out my local metals shop and experience what it's like to be a metal trader. Sold them for under 1% of spot, put my money in the bank than then brought some gold coins. I would have more metal now if I didn't go through this mistake and process, but the experience of selling metals and what prices the dealers were willing to accept was invaluable. Besides, currency inflation has already invalidated the losses.

honestly it's all down to what you're willing to pay, i don't know what premiums are like in the colonies but silver spot is currently $31.70 per ozt
so for 10oz spot is $317 so that's like a 35% premium (off the top of my head). you yanks often joke about people in the UK having to pay 20% vat + premium, which often comes out to about 30%, but you seem to be being charged more than 30% over anyway.

>> No.59056639

Balancing liquidity and premiums is kind of important too. Probably yes, as other anon pointed out silver is cheaper relatively to copper's rarity because it's a byproduct of copper mining first, and then because of all the logistic implied by a metal you have to move in great quantities (copper). Just like iron is so abundant it shouldn't be worth anything, but transforming & moving around such a heavy weight represent 90% of the value. Rarity is far from the main element when it comes to determine the price of metals.

This drastic shift of the sovereign coin means that the Royal Mint might be preparing for gold and silver to enter circulation again because the current alloy mix of the sovereign is designed for circulation, meaning the silver sovereign might be sterling silver.

How much do you guys think you realistically need to stack in order to have a comfy life post collapse? I've seen enough of these floating around and honestly, most of them I feel are way too low in the amount of silver you'd need to stack to be set.

In a country like the US, I kinda doubt silver would be that valuable given the amount of silver that likely floats around in the hands of stackers and jews. If you use the 18th-19th century standard of $1 a day, you'd need almost 200 oz to equal a years wages (5 days a week/52 weeks a year.) I doubt land would be THAT much cheaper post collapse compared to today and so you'd need several hundred ounces probably to just buy a homestead property that allows for a sustenance level existence. Am I wrong or are the people that put these fun little charts together just too poor and in denial about the amount that you'd really need to stack to survive?

Knowing a system is unstable and predicting exactly when it will collapse are two very different things. But being early is infinitely better than being late.

Historical fact: ALL empires eventually collapse. Historical fact: All fiat currencies go to zero. Historical fact: the American economy rests on an unsustainable debt bubble, government, corporate, and consumer debt. Historical fact: The international supremacy of the USD is being challenged by a credible coalition that now controls half the world's GDP. Historical fact: Central banks and governments around the globe are increasing PM stacks.

Can we really say what future performance will be in the near term based on past performance given we have never seen an economic situation like we're living in today?

> USD utterly fiat
> USD world's reserve currency
> USA World super power
> USA invaded, sold out and entirely indoctrinated

wouldnt government jobs be net neutral? like .. if everyone in the US keeps working their current jobs with no changes but their boss is now the gubmint, doesnt the money just circulate?

sorry if thats a retarded question. i feel like i remember tho that there's countries where a majority of people work in the public sector and it works just fine. not saying it's in any way desireable, just that it's not necessarily a net loss

you're just gonna have to hold another 50 years when the price rises slightly above what it was at yesterday

If you had a productive job that people were voluntarily paying you to do out of their own pockets and the government took over, putting aside the inevitable loss of productivity and service, there would be no change. But the government jobs being created now are not producing goods or services people are paying for. They are not being paid out of company profits. They are being paid with money created out of thin air by the Federal Reserve thereby increasing the money supply. Also, they are typically jobs that don't produce anything of value that anyone wants. So it adds nothing to wealth and degrades the money supply.

What jobs are you talking about?
Also, anyone having a paying job contributes to the economy in general - they are consumers that buy food, pay rent/buy houses, cars, need repairs, etc., whether as a gov't employee or private citizen.

can someone explain
how my puts on a company went up in value
even tho the company stocks went up???

for example
I bought a put thinking the price would go below 40 and that I would make money once it went below 40 and that if it went to 36 I'd still make money just not as much and that if it only went down to 41 that it'd be worthless on Day of expirey...
