The problem with scarce assets is they become unfair for people who were not alive to accumulate early. Like our kids will never hope to own a whole btc on their own, but we had the chance to stack hundreds.

A better system would be some scarce asset that is tied to each generation. So everyone has the opportunity to play the game. Then they can only be mad at themselves for not accumulating when they had the chance.

You don't have to "believe" it, its just math. 21,000,000/X as X increases to infinity will evaluate to higher and higher prices forever. X is the fiat supply here. Fiat is literally engineered to go down forever. There will be volatility in between, but its just a matter of how much time before Bitcoin will be $1mil, $10mil, $100mil, any number.

>> No.59052609

>>59051396
Doesn't matter if its a "problem," scarcity exists. Land, gold, equity (stocks), are all scarce. The only thing an inflationary currency does is siphon wealth off the innocent masses who don't realize how the system works.

>A better system would be some scarce asset that is tied to each generation.
Cool in theory, but one, impossible to implement without loopholes, and then what does the 70 or 80+ year old billionaire do with his money knowing it will be completely lost when he dies? Blow it on something stupid probably. It would incentivize massive misuse of capital that would just destroy resources. Passing the wealth on to their kids is a lot better than erecting a 5,000ft statue to themselves or something.

>If you wanna go up, you gotta go down
You cannot experience the heights of heaven without knowing the depths of hell. This is why Christ spent 3 days there before ascending. You could try to go heaven first, but the path to evil is paved with good intentions. So then the path to good must be paved with bad intentions.

All the evil in the world exists within you. We like to imagine "bad" people as something different than human. Like we could never do that. Everything is addictive though. If you've ever smoked, gambled, slept around then you understand to some degree the addiction. The greater the societal boundary you cross, the greater the high and stronger the addiction. Eventually, you'll find yourself doing the addictive habit not for the habit, but for the high. Murder, rape, drinking...it's all the same bucket of shit to varied degrees. You will always need bigger hits. This is the essence of hell.

Its objective math. Bitcoin is guaranteed to be any number of dollars, its just a matter of when, and how much those dollars are worth. Because say for example, bitcoin hits $100million in 2040, $100mil in 2040 is going to be a lot less value than $100 mil now. It may be only the equivalent value of a few million today.

And if the dollar collapses then bitcoin will be essentially worth infinity dollars like 1 usd = something like 10^27 or something original Zimbabwe dollars when that currency. That's 1 usd = Z$1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 may as well just say infinity at that point.

It exists as much as the dollar does. FYI reserve notes (paper bills) and bank deposits are not technically dollars, they are liabilities of the fed and bank respectively to give you a "dollar," which is actually just a made up unit of value that used to defined as a certain amount of gold, but now is just defined as whatever it trades for just like bitcoin. Nether is more real than the other, the difference is bitcoin has a limited supply, while the government literally works to make sure the dollar depreciates in value over time.

>ok so i'm addicted to things, how does this help me to learn about heaben?
These "evil" parts of yourself only grow larger when you don't acknowledge they are within you. When you think there's nothing wrong with you, and the problem lies in everybody else. You're like a wooden puppet disconnected from parts of yourself. When you finally start to acknowledge these tendencies, then the path to healing is open. But you have to take that deep look into yourself to know how much is in there, and it's terrifying to KNOW.

From here you're not in heaven, you're in limbo. You know this evil resides in you, but you don't want it to. You enjoy the thought that you're an ok guy. You flip back'n forth between rejecting this evil within yourself knowing the rejection of it will only make it grow, and accepting you have this but feeling terrible about it because it shatters your entire identity (ego) of who you think you are.

The dollar is backed by the USA. The USA is very real and ensured the dollar has value. Fake monopoly money has more value than bitcon because at least it exists.

>> No.59053232

>>59053198
The dollar is only metaphorically "backed" in the sense the US gives some promise it won't be devalued rapidity. This only has value because despite massive deficits the US is more trust worthy than most other countries fiat currency. But the US absolutely has a policy for constant supply expansion and inflation.

Bitcoin is similarity backed in the exact same way by its code/protocol that mathematically guarantees the supply won't be diluted nearly at all, so it doesn't require any government like the US to promote it, but it can be promoted by a growing economy of people who use bitcoin because they trust math more than a government with seemly no ability to control its deficit, and desire a currency that isn't controlled by a gov that guarantees long term devaluation.

>the only way out is through
So the question now is "how do i continue living with this knowledge". Well you can't go back, and it will get harder before it gets easier. You now have the process of learning to love yourself. To begin taking your first steps.

>it would feel good to harm people or even myself
This is my internal protector. He will keep me safe during conflict and give me strength to push after my wants. Unintegrated my protector will become a tormentor and place unreasonable demands on myself and others.

>it would feel good to fuck whoever i want whenever i want
This is my internal social butterfly. It gives me the spontaneity and creativity to build strong connections with those around me. Unintegrated my butterfly will push people away for fear of my own lustful desires.

>watching horrible things happen to people is enjoyable because for once it's someone else in pain
This is my internal joker. It gives me humor to lighten the mood when things are bad. Unintegrated my joker will subconsciously cause pain to those around me to amuse itself.

These are just a few of my demons that i have learned to love. Yours will be unique to you as will your integration of them.

Dollars themselves are part of the US debt. Dollars are just US debt with zero duration. Again, technically the "dollar" is just a unit of value, and your cash or bank account is just a debt of the central bank or a commercial bank.

The amount of debt including outstanding currency, bank deposits, treasuries, etc. represents the total supply of dollars in the long term. So the total amount absolutely matters because its basically the supply in the end.

Its just the massive increase in USD supply has been partially offset by deflationary factors like increasing adoption of the USD overseas as a reserve currency, capital accumulation incl. technological growth, globalization, etc. If the US gov ran a straight up balanced budget, fixed supply dollar, the dollar would have massively appreciated in value like bitcoin due to all those factors, but it is literally their policy to ensure the dollar gradually declines in value.

That's why bitcoin is basically guaranteed to reach any sort of nominal value in exchange with the dollar, its just a question of time frame.

The easiest example of integration I can give is being horny. When you're horny how do you act? More outgoing, more lively, more willing. When you satisfy the horny by coooming how do you feel? I urge you to sit with the horny feeling, let if fry you electrically, and watch to see if anything truly bad happens. What you'll realize is you don't want to coom. What you want is to stop the horny feeling. It never stops. So change how you feel about being horny. See the presence of the feeling as a good thing because it gives all the positives I mentioned.

This is when you start to see the blessings. You've tapped into the power of your raw sexual essence. It will give you all the motivation, and creativity you need. You won't need to think of what to say to girls or watch video's, it will flow for you in a way that feels organic and people will just say "i like his vibe". All that energy you used up before thinking about it will come back to you. Things will feel effortless (effortless effort). Do this for enough things and your energy stockpile will grow. With enough energy (presence) mystical experiences will become common for you.
