Wild. My LCS only has super highly circulated constitutional and really banged up generic stuff. He's is a true capitalist though, and I can't ever see him turning away silver. I once saw him buy 250k of silver from an old man who was cashing out to buy a barn.

Gold though, you're right, it's a little tougher to find locally for me unless I want to shell out for larger bars. I picked up a 1oz coin a couple weeks ago, but he only had 3 to sell at the time, and two were numismatic pieces...which I can respect...but don't care for, nor would I pay for.

>normies see line go up
>they buy, because they are retard.
They literally buy high, see their money disappearing as line go down, then get scared and sell low.
I know a guy who did that with bitcoin, bought in about 2021, missed the first big spike, then sold when it went low again and made a loss. if he had just held for the long run he would have made even more.
they literally thin:
>"oh this thing is going up, it will only go up even more now, time to buy"
If I see shit going up a lot, I'm not interested. You have to catch that wave EARLY or it is too late, it's when i see shit going down, that's when I'm interested. bought most of my bitcoin in nov 2022. Look at that point on a graph. I told everyone to buy and they said:
>"no line go down, it can only go down even more now, bitcoin will go to 0"
I love funnelling bitcoin profits into what I think is the early rise of silver. Regardless, I'd rather have silver than bitcoin.

You have things backwards. Gold was made illegal in the USA as part of the scheme for getting OFF the gold standard. And what could you possibly mean by saying that gold and silver were illegal for longer than they were legal? Gold and silver have been the world's money, jingling in the pockets of peasants and lords alike, for most of human history. It was only the advent of the American fiat scam, initiated less than a hundred years ago, that took specie out of the hands of the people..

Some do yes. But the big players like the hedge funds, pension funds, institutional investors,... find silver to be too cumbersome and do not want to have to deal with storage, logistics & insurance fees related to the physical medium. Having the fake stuff is much more convenient for trading purposes (until it isn't).
Every retarded decision we are witnessing comes from the belief the statu quo is eternal.

Then you could also argue there is simply way too much fiat money who NEED to be invested (or else being eaten by currency devaluation/dilution) and there are way too few physical vehicles to support this strain without a massive revaluation. So the only way to keep the statu quo valid is to invest said fiat money into (digitalized) representations of the vehicles, said representations you can duplicate ad infinitum.
A while back i made some lenghty posts explaining how any billionaire could easily corner the silver market, but why they will never do so, because the richfags are the ones needing the most the current statu quo to continue to exist, it's how they got rich in the first place. But they also understand they cannot take more than their fair share, unless it's in the digital realm, where they can buy as many assets as they want to with their fake monies, since we can issue as many fake assets as we want.

That's also why they push all the normies to only invest in those etherical assets (401k, REIT, stock options,..). Even for the plebs there is no remotely enough gold and silver to go around. Not even for 1% at the current valuation.

Seeing as Milei is anti-communist, he's moved Argentina's gold to the Bank of England for two reasons:

1. It gives the western financial institutions more gold to temporarily put on the market to stabilize the fiat price.
2. It's a fuck you to future leftists by putting Argentina's gold in the hands of a western county party institution.

Everyone seems to forget that China is looking to have economic might over all of South America. The United States cannot let that happen, especially to Argentina. The only thing that stops Argentina from being an international powerhouse is its incompetence. China could change that around with its immense funding. Geographically Argentina is OP. Temperate climate, fresh water rivers up and down the entire country, half the country next to the ocean, it fucking amazes me it hasn't happened sooner. If China changed that then Argentina would be indebted to the CCP. It would effectively give China an ally like Australia is to the United States.

technically you are saving, if you are really that desperate for money I don't think you could afford 15oz of beans let alone gold or silver. If you really need cash you could sell that in one day if you took a little loss.
That's kinda what I always think, my money is losing value because of inflation anyway, taking a little loss on silver if I am desperate doesn't actually set me back as much as it seems. However I'd still be in profit if I sold my silver for a loss now, because line go up at the moment, slight upwards trend since 2018.
Looking at the history of silver, it seems to have a slight upwards trend like that for about 8 years, then spikes up massively. It's been 6 years since 2018. Are we at the beginning of a big wave? Only time will tell.

And they correctly predicted that battery electrics were being over-hyped. Now car makers all over are pulling back on batteries. So I think they are worth watching. The only thing hydrogen lacks is infrastructure and that is already being built out. Long-haul trucking will be first. That will fund the infrastructure. Then passenger vehicles will follow.

But if the day comes when Toyota and Hyundai say hydrogen is not feasible, then I will sell.

Sure. And there are already a non-trivial number of vehicles on the road burning LNG. But part of what is driving the whole movement away from ICE is carbon emissions. Whether you think it is really a problem or not, it is a force in the market and in government policy. Another problem is the ultimately finite quantity of petroleum. LNG still has these problems. Hydrogen doesn't.

I would say that you could move towards LNG as a step towards hydrogen, but I don't think LNG infrastructure will hold hydrogen. But hydrogen infrastructure should hold LNG just fine. So you could start upgrading LNG infrastructure to be hydrogen-ready.

I think the day will come when we embrace fission as the core of global energy production and use it to generate hydrogen, which will be the fuel of essentially all land and air vehicles. Absent some major innovation, platinum will have a major role in that. But it might be awhile.

I've read a similar theory that '''they'' have been normalizing sexual degeneracy/immorality because it lowers the vibrational energy of the planet and the people to the point that some kind of global cataclysm reset event is triggered like an auto-immune response. Instead of an ice age though I think it might be a solar flare.

That's a great question. Because although we know the historical and mining ratios being much lower, it always feels like the system can ignore these obvious sentiments and valuations. It would really depend on the news cycles and general sentiment surrounding the economy and silver in general.
One thing that is interesting is that above ground stocks of gold, if remonetized, would have to revalue silver far higher due to arbitrage.
I tend to agree that silver is going to break free of the usual GSR and is going to be fully revalued as an industrial metal. Your silver coins, decades from now, will look as amazing as if someone had bags of palladium coins. A 100oz silver bar will be as stunning as someone having 100oz bar of platinum.
New silver coming out of the ground is like 3-4 grams per person. Which is the size of a penny. A single ounce of silver is literally 10YEARS worth of your individual allotment of silver. That is absolutely absurd and the only reason the price is so low is because we are burning through existing stock now that we are in a digital age. The low price has us wasting our silver on solar panels, and silly consumer products when quite clearly there is a shortage. The monetary and the industrial usage has me convinced the GSR could go far below 40-50.

Best advice: don't worry too much about the premiums. I mean, don't get raped, but you'll lose more to inflation than you will to the premium in a matter of months. Buy what you can afford, buy regularly, and don't put all your eggs into any one basket.

Heres another piece of advice, don't buy silver. Only gold. make 1 purchase every 3 months and you will have one ounce of gold a year. Easier to store and transport and will outperform silver. You will thank me later. 1/4 ounce govt coin every three months. 1/4 gold eagle, 1/4 gold britannia or maple. Stay the course and it will add up. If you want more get more.

>Why do people hate Ampex?
Apmex's prices for pedestrian silver is pretty high.
They however have some specials and specialty items that discerning shoppers recognize as good deals, and they have a selection that is supreme.
So if you're a stacker of cheap silver it's not your go-to shop and you might feel justified complaining, especially if you brag about your purchase and someone else points out where else you could have gotten whatever for less.

Ty frens. To be honest my old man is likely gonna pass me a shit ton of silver anyways so maybe gold is the way to go after all. I just don’t have any real stackage yet which is why I was considering a bit of silver to begin with. I have some lab grown diamonds worth a pretty penny that I got as a gift, probably 5-$600 worth, would make for a nice chunky gold purchase but I may just hang on to that for moar stash >:^)

I can totally understand why hoomans have always been into shiny metal bc collecting it just activates the monke parts of my brain and shits endorphins. I’m so excited to be a PMchad in the making
