A recession is coming sooner than anyone expected, all the data is starting to line up.
They lied about inflation, they lied about employment and unemployment, they're intentionally cutting rates late, and they lied about what they're doing with the economy.

It's a controlled demolition.

The cycle became too predictable and they will never let 2021 happen again because the average joe made too much money.

Everything is at a discount. Why are you sad? Now is the time to secure generational wealth.

Right anon of course they are not going to allow stocks to go up ever again

They will once they buy everything up with the money they will print and give only to their friends at the bottom while you are forced to sell to pay rent/mortgage and groceries.

Which crypto or stocks would you recommend? I've been reading that fintech such as PYPL, SQ, SOFI, HOOD would be good holds. Also I see that Oil (CL, XOM, OXY) seems to be on a downtrend. I imagine long Oil, Crypto, Tech is not a bad idea. AI seems like a meme but I'm open to it. As far as crypto I've heard SOL, ETH, BTC are good holds. What are some other long term hodl's out there that you know of?

Discount? It’s all heavily overvalued. We’ve had champagne popping and cocaine sniffing economy since 2008 bailouts. Which stock market indicator are you looking at that doesn’t scream overvalued by at least 1 sigma?

There's a fuckton of money sitting on the sidelines coupled with the massive printing that will happen.
Wait for the bear market and then throw everything into VOO which will average 15-20% for years once the crash is over

We've been in a recession since Joe got his Inflation Creation Act (stealth Green New Deal) through. When the news actually starts reporting on it, it'll almost be over.

Recession is where you make money buying the juicy dips. The underlying companies will still be generating revenue during a recession but the stock price will take a hit. I am mostly in cash and spending the bare minimum from each paycheck.

what I did to deal with all that was to just start therapy and go back to absurd things like $rocky, if everything is really going to crash and the economy goes to hell, I'm going to try at least to be happy in the meantime

This is like saying they're going to sink the ark because some rats got on board, or that they're going to nuke the planet because too many people own houses.
They can live with what they've built or they can kill themselves in spite of it, and either way it's literally not my problem. All good if everyone becomes as poor as me, even better if I get as rich as them. I literally don't care.
Sink the ship, I can swim.
Nuke the planet. I have holes to hide in.
I don't care. Make it with me or don't make it at all. I know which is the better choice.
