>invest about $200 of my own money and do alright, get to like $300
>dad hears about this
>says he'll give me $200 more to invest if I pay him back half the gains
>agree and put in $200 more from my bank account
>he never pays me back so it's just my own $400 at this point
>months later now up to about $1200 after hodling some alts for a long-ass time in crypto terms (LINKIES WERE RIGHT)
>show dad my gainz
>he says to cash out his cut
>argue that he shouldn't get a cut because he never actually gave me the money he promised
>tries to say he'll give me $200 now
>say that's bullshit because it's not what we agreed upon
>he argues that I never would have invested the extra $200 if he hadn't promised to pay me some so he still deserves his 50%
>say no and refuse to cash out
>now he's mad at me
Who was in the wrong here? Keep in mind this is fucking chump change to my father who makes like $200k per year and owns tons of property.
