The value lies in tokenization. Asset managers, FMIs, and CSDs are going to reap *massive* benefits. Tokenization enables the creation of novel financial products that are programmable, and update in real-time based on embedded data feeds. The possibilities here are endless with connection to any arbitrary API. Think a tokenized hedge fund which consumes positioning or sentiment data in real-time from an LLM. These products are composable as well, and due to their traceability, risk management will greatly improve.

End users will access these products through traditional financial rails, but imo DeFi will be the largest winner (on the crypto side of things) as TradFi will adopt this infrastructure on the backend to tap idiosyncratic liquidity, which is extremely desirable due to the highly diversified nature of defi collateral pools.

The BlackRock Buidl fund has approx 250 transactions to date - at an average cost of 4$ a transaction Ethereum validators have only profited around $1000, wheras BlackRock charges 2.5% annualized on deposits. The value is going to be captured by the asset managers and DeFi protocols (which are effectively asset managers for collateral pools), but most of all, Chainlink.

Nah. Blockchain "tech" is a broken reinvented-wheel solution (spreadsheet) in search of a problem to solve slower and at exponentially higher cost. It hasn't found a problem to solve in over a decade.

POC NOT NEEDED

will chainlink stakers benefit though? will token appreciate in value? is token even needed?

Woah must feel nice having the whole network and premint for yourself. Guess hell never decentralise. The network doesn’t have any intrinsic demand or need for the token, as he has not engineered any(you can pay in anything and they’ll keep profit and then pay nodes from non-circulating link).

>7/ The LINK token appears to be one of the best ways to get exposure to RWA adoption, as the protocol touches both permissioned and permissionless chains. With that said, it is important to note that Swift has not yet deployed an in-production use case with CCIP.

Asset tokenization is similar to a bank's fractional reserve function. They lend out and borrow from deposits then give you a number on a screen as assurance. Tokens and digital dollars are digital fiat backed by cash deposits in a bank that has no reserve requirement to begin with. A game of musical chairs being played atop a house of cards on a wobbly table
