Why does a 93 year old as rich as he is need more growth? Is he trying to save up to buy something special for his 100th birthday?

My plan right now is 100% cash until generational crash. If it doesn't happen, I won't make it. But at the same time, if I don't get a good entry, I won't make it either.

My 'all-in' price for Bitcoin is $20k right now.

That was a minor blip. I'm talking about a real crash that leads to a bear market, not a little baby flash crash that rebounds and resumes bullish behavior immediately.

If you were here in 2016-2019, I'm looking for Dec 2018-Feb 2019 vibes. When crypto was 'dead', and was definitely not coming back. Anything else just doesn't fit my risk profile, personally.

Exactly my point, I'm waiting for a similar environment in terms of despair. Maybe this time it's due to a recession and war, idk.

>>58851208
Yeah, that happened last time with me wanting $12k, and it only dropped to $16k, but I didn't really have money to spend then anyway. I will stick to my principles though, below $28k and I'm starting a weighted or laddered DCA (buying more as it drops, less as it increases).

>> No.58851233

>>58851212
Why didn't the government ban it though? That stopped me from going hard into it in 2014. I just thought, yeah obviously the banks are going to ban something that makes them obsolete. And the silk road/darknet context at the time would've made it too easy. Incompetence or did they see this as profitable to them?

The federal reserve uses bitcoin to launder digitally printed currency handed to dubious financial firms that pop up and disappear faster than the McRib. Its a ponzi scheme. Also the nsa has back doors to access seed phrases. Unironically people have been psy opped away from cash due to BRRR memes, its never addressed how the printing is digital, they'd never keep up with the printing if they had to print it on paper.

I have a couple businesses that are going well, and next year hope to have my mortgage covered by renters (one in an ADU, the other upstairs).

I don't really need $2mil ASAP, I just want my time back. Business is a time sink but I enjoy what I do. And with the mortgage covered I could be really chill, or take more risks. That's enough for me! What I can't afford to do is high risk investing and lose the capital that will allow me to build that ADU and support my business.

>> No.58851251

>>58851233
>I just thought, yeah obviously the banks are going to ban something that makes them obsolete.
it doesn't. this circus has become too addicted to printing itself out of big oopsies. if bitcoin were to overtake the dollar tomorrow, and a recession or a depression eventually hit it, they wouldn't be able to do what they've been doing since 2008, so things would crash and people at the top would have to be held accountable for real. they'd commit genocide before that happened. that's largely why none of these cryptos will ever make it in that sense, and if any digital currency ever does, there's going to be a backdoor somehow.

Im almost all in on dips. Right now its borderline free. This is why I'm all in on shorting the burgers and going long on the dips. We are in one of the lowest lows for dip prices, but the canary in the coal mine was displayed when the pizzajudes began charging for cheese & pepper, guess whata finna be next? Ketchup, bbq sauce, and the other. imo bbq will have the highest roi because its slightly scarcer for about the same demand I've already got an ipo on its way just basically hoarding up all this dip at the low so that way I can have collateral to sell for cash to buy the burgers back on the dip because as i typed this post I was borrowing a burger from a patron of the restaurant and immediately returned it. See when the lines are long in the drive through, the burger prices creep up so thats when you return the burger and then wait for the rush to go away and then once the last car's cleared, you jump in and buy it at the low when theres no demand and then give it back to that patron. Using the cash earned, I was able to buy myself a meal in which immediately after my last bight i marched up to the counter demanding a refund. 111 mcdonalds have posters with my face saying do not serve this man

*Treasuries 101*

100 = 00.**
1000 = 0*.**
10000 = **.**
100000 = ***.**
1000000 = ****.**
10000000 = *****.**
So... For example @ Rate .05365 = (5.365%)

Formula Equates - 10000000(1(.05365*28)/360) = .9958**~-+ &= ($0.41) Discount/Return

100 - .41
1000 - 4.10
10000 - 41
100000 - 410
1000000 - 4100
10000000 - 41000

Makes sense. Safer return.
