as all things in life: it's complicated, you might be able to detect the price and movement of btc with some degree of certainty (i've done it, it's possible, people do it every day) and i've even used technical analysis to predict the price of some shitcoins (i predicted the last ath of $doogle and made some good money) but you have to understand the macro level of crypto is highly volatile and some situations are beyond analysis, so you have to be wary that there might be some days where you fuck up big time and the chart goes to shit, some stuff is unpredictable
