I need a bit of hopium frens. I'm shocked by Chainlink's price development and I'm slowly being convinced by the FUD. CCIP is a nothingburger and hasn't even generated $1000 in fees in several days. Build rewards have not been available to stakers for years, even though Build projects are already on the market. On top of that, 70 million tokens are being dumped by the team every year. What's going to happen next? I mean, the price of LINK was $18 in August 2020, while BTC was at $11k (!). It's pretty obvious that something is wrong. Can anyone here for real give me some hopium? I'm on the verge of closing the crypto chapter for myself.

Link being $18 while BTC was at 11k signals very strong long term health. Their recent meetings with SWIFT and Euroclear signal good long term health. I’m on the fence between
>link is massively undervalued
>link is valued well as it has a strong future ahead of it, but widespread adoption and revenue generation are so far away that it doesn’t make sense to invest/hold right now, other projects have better risk/return at the moment
>(((they))) are doing everything they can to ensure we give up hope and sell our chainlink so they can own a strong majority

why always got to be a low iq conspiracy theorist? the token isn't needed and is worthless. sergey dumps 10s of millions for years isn't bullish.

Xrp 2.0
Xrp originally had the same exact narrative
>the banks are gonna buy our bags and use our tech
>just 2 more weeks
>(insert conspiracy) about why the price sucks
>there are people who've been holding for 10 years with fuck all gains hoping that le switch will be flipped in two more weeks

You’re sensible friend and this is normal. Its totally normal to make these conclusions with all that has happened, it is rational and how you invest instead pf becoming a bagholding cult.

Many are going through the same thing. My advice is to just keep a suicide stack, however much that is to you. I got in early so for me its 1k LINK still, but will downgrade it if it pumps to $100 or so.

Just keep enough that you wont neck if some unlikely event happens like the initial 2018-2020 pump happens again.
Dont think about “what else is there to buy” because yea, crypto is a pile of shit and downgraded more and more to gambling. Maybe BTC boomer gains, maybe stocks, maybe your own business, whatever. Dont let that mindset bring you towards the cultists.

Many years ago it was worth the risk to hold thousands of LINK and way more than a suicide stack. Now it isn’t. A lot has changed

You almost need to think about conspiracy with cryptocurrency because it’s rife with market manipulation and bad actors, and lots of it is basically legal at the moment

XRP never had any major bank or institution openly working on integrating it. Ever.
All they ever had was paid board seats, advisory contributions, and speaking slots.

In terms of institutional interest, XRP is a joke compared to Link.

the hopium is that nothing of interest is live on ccip yet, either in web3 or tradfi
only xswap and their farmers
in web3, the first one to keep an eye on is aave's stablecoin which should be launching soon. it is native on ccip
but the bigger problem is that the whole web3 space is fucked, little talent, lots of scams
with tradfi, link is clearly making headway - the mention in the financial times late last year was good confirmation of this
but the problem there is that they are very conservative and we're still years away from anything meaningful
however i do think that as more news comes from them that it can spark a second speculative wave - after the 2019/2020 one centred around defi
