If AI is basically a literal God to atheists, does that mean it's considered a false idol? Is investing in AI like investing in the devil?

I've been listening to a lot of stuff about the potentials of AI and the more I hear the more it sounds like it will inevitably lead to some kind of hell world. So investing in AI you're basically investing in going to hell.
