I have a good idea for a memecoin that has never been done before. I would like to make it successful if I actually go through and make it. What's the secret ingredient for making a memecoin successful? Very often you see someone release a memecoin and it gets no traction, then someone else comes along and releases same meme later and it does 10,000x. Is it all luck?

A small team that knows the target audience well and a huge marketing blitz to get started.

This. It's all about marketing and having dedicated shillers that are outside of your "team". Needs to have hype

Finding trustworthy team members that won't fuck you over seems to be the tricky part. Is marketing really that important in 2024? I've seen several projects that have dumped insane amounts into marketing a do nothing, meanwhile coins that literally only pay the $300 to update dexscreener with no website moon like crazy

Would you not consider pepe a success at 7B? Or trump at 1B?

there is some luck at play but the 2 main things you need are money to advertise the coin and a group of dedicated people willing to shill the coin on twitter hard.
also, if you ever make said coin and you are serious about trying to make the token get big, then stay the fuck away from /biz/
the people here (all of us, including me) are like the indian equivalent of king midas.
everything /biz/anons touch turns to shit.
that being said... SAR PLIS LET ME BUY SAR.

Your roadmap needs to be appealing. You dont even have to do any of the things you said you were going to do. Nobody even expects that. You just need to make it seem fun and fun to be a part of. We're surprisingly basic creatures that will usually throw money at anything that sounds like a party.
