There is plenty of competition, but no doubt the majority of coins that manage to make it into the top 1,000 or whatever have what you describe as an ingredient to their success.
You risk bigger, smarter, better equipped (with bot armies) fish coming into your pond and beating you at your own game, rugging your army of baggies and draining liquidity pools.
There are plenty of people who will also see through your scam and your reputation can suffer some damage. Can range from mild to severe.
If you really screw up it may be more than reputation damage, the authorities might getchya.
That's about all I can think of.

i wrote up a whole ass thing but ill just make it short. I agree with you. In my life I have had sex with about 30 women, never used a dating app. Just was meeting people in person or social media. Most of those people I had sex with or hit it off with I never even had a job and was just a student in college with some shit tier retail job. They liked me for me and the attraction was just a natural thing. I didnt need to try hard or compete with people. No parties or anything just meeting people randomly in my life organically.

Now as an adult with a cool job and money, and I still look pretty much like I did in the past despite my friends aging like shit, its hard to form those simple connections with people. People today are a lot more closed off, and just have a different frame of mind they live in. People today are just different. I think stuff started to change around 2014 personally. So I have no clue what the future will hold. Personally there is a part of me that is content just trying to live a life that I feel is productive and helps others. And if I end up alone I dont know if I care anymore.

Sometimes being alone sucks, but so does being in a shitty relationship with shitty people. I do feel like people standards have exponentially increased. I dont use social media anymore and I think that also makes it hard because people feel like its strange. But around 2021 I just made the jump and stopped using it because I felt like it was bad for my health. some women will even get mad and assume you're lying if you say you dont have instagram or whatever. society is just weird now. I wish I could go back to simpler times were people werent like this.
