I saw Keith Gill at a grocery store in Grapevine yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. Thanks for asking. The dude is a gambler. Living a life of luxury off the compound interest of $40 million would've been the smart move. But he's back to roll the dice on not just the price movement itself, but also on the law continuing to tolerate and lag behind this new style of blatant stock manipulation.

And to me, it's really not as huge of a surprise as some others here seem to think it is. The man bought GameStop stock in 2020. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was a stupid bet, but it was VERY risky. In fact, DFV's thesis was literally proven wrong, in that GameStop failed its big "ryan cohen turnaround" in horrifying fashion and continued to have multiple years of ATROCIOUS financial performance after that point (which very likely would've killed the company or put it into "BBBY territory", had they not had billions of dollars falling from the sky out of ape wallets). At the end of the day, the shorts were the ones who were correct, even in 2020. They just maybe got a little too greedy and reckless with it, and definitely got a lot unlucky.
DFV was wrong and, it increasingly seems, a degenerate and an idiot.

The company's NFT approach is cutting edge, and the rest of the market has not even considered this technology. In addition, they have a strong focus on long-term profitability, and a broad base of die-hard buyers at any price.

And let's not forget about the lack of competition they are facing, the market cannot even try to catch up. The NFT industry is going to be littered with the corpses (bankruptcy type) of Coinbase™, Fidelity™, and OpenSea™ are giving their lunch away, and it's only a matter of time before GME is a monopoly. Now, I know that some of you may be thinking, "But Cim, what about the the class action suits? Surely the SCOTUS will rule against them?" Well, let me tell you, that is fueled by speculation, not legal theory. It's nothing more than a hope you wish is true.

In short, GME is a company that is before it's prime and ahead of the game. The numbers don't lie, and it's clear that this company is headed for the moon. My advice to you: If you're holding onto GME stock, it's time to hold, and hold forever. Because if you don't you're going to be the one left holding the bag when the bottom falls out.

It's entirely plausible that Keith has always been a gambling addicted degen, or got turned into one from his GME success. The weird part is that he didn't lose any of that money in the last three years. People have been speculating that maybe he made a ton of money quietly trading, but that's not consistent with either his recent or past history. Keith is not some sort of market savant. Don't forget that he was wrong about GME. Nothing about his fundamental thesis came true. He ended up winning, sure, but it was like going all in on an inside straight draw, failing to pull it, then winning because you pulled an ace and it was the high card. That increase in volume led to mass hedging as pretty much every contract was now in the money, and short positions were likely being closed. It likely would have been a nutty week regardless, but he threw the lit match on the gasoline.
This time was all him, but there’s no additional fuel, so his impact has been muted.

I don't know how closely people were watching those options at the time, but the SEC is combing through his trade history now so I'm sure we'll know soon enough.

Remember, sell limits can only be like x2 the current price or something. So once we reach those numbers, we go up exponentially. Soon as we hit 10k we fill someone at 20k, then 40k, 80k, 100k, 200k, 400k...small orders help trickle us up and get put on the market, selling like 2 or 5 at a time helps imo. It depends on price points for me personally. Everyone should have an exit plan. If we hit 3k or 4k a share I'll probably sell two and that'll cover my entire cost basis + a little bit of profit. At that point, I won't feel as self-conscious holding what I do hold. If we hit 10k~30k I'll be compelled to sell 25 or so. That'd be a nice bit of breathing room for me. We get more ridiculous and reach 100k~500k , I'm liable to sell 50 or so shares and hold the rest for silly numbers or turn the rest of my holdings into an investment machine if we actually have a Gameshire Hathway situation on our hands.
