Bitcoin has always prioritized decentralization and ideals before technology.
That's the only reason shitcoins are momentarily up and BTC is down.

You do realize this setting won't go on forever?
Altcoins are fully aware of the transfer cost situation and they are exploiting the fuck out of it, each promising better, faster and more scalable techonology.
You guys are not seeing this clearly. The best aspect of cryptocurrency is the fact you can have digital wealth you can take anywhere and nobody can touch it. Bitcoin will win in the long run because it doesn't compromise its idea just to make more money.

If I wanted to invest in a greedy corporation like Ripple, I'd just buy normal stocks and stay away from crypto. Crypto is for anonymity and decentralization.
