Anyone else think meme coins and getting caught up in them is evil? I feel like its pure gambling and evil and degenerate. Real genuine cryptos dont make me feel like this.

I don't care about right or wrong. What I see is that it dilutes the market and makes us look like idiots. They should be put aside and considered stinking cockroaches.

Couldn’t agree more. Bitcoin will not reach 100k until all memecoins go to zero first.

The only people making money from shitcoins are the devs and crypto twitter callers who have somewhat of a following. Yeah you can get lucky once in a while and hit a mooner but it's like a casino, you're already down a massive edge before you've even begun. 99% of coins are rugs where the dev either immediately dumps on you or they have alt wallets and slow dump on you draining all liquidity. Twitter is even worse, never buy into anything someone is shilling on twitter, you're exit liquidity.

I actually think Twitter is the best place to find genuine projects. BIZ sure as fuck isnt these days.

>> No.58557515

Yeah a lot of the meme market feels evil and satanic as fuck. But there is still a lot of good that can be done with the money made from it so idk. People have genuinely changed their lives on memecoin profits. Not to mention I think all crypto and money is tainted by evil. sucks that it's required for survival. I'd love to just live off the land in a cabin I built in the woods, but I'd last all of 2-3 months before the game wardens sent the police to evict me

The amount of scams is terrible and those rugging devs are evil, no doubt. But memecoins can be fun and make everyone money. Nothing evil about that

The shitcoin casino is a bunch of dude bros trying to make it

The fiat printer is literally responsible for the destruction of nations, enslavement of billions, deaths of hundreds of millions...

It's speculation, which is a kind of gambling in that it's a hedge on future outcomes. But all markets work this way. Everything is a meme in finance and short of insider trading everything is gambling in finance as well. You just need the affectations of tradfi legitimacy to reassure yourself.

Well, The Bible does say, in Hebrews 13:5 – Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Now I dont think God ever meant to not love or hold possessions (otherwise he wouldn't have made his followers erects fucking churches made of gold), he just meant to be free of them, meaning, to not get chained them, they are tools after all. So if you see a 400% pump on your hottie bag, as long as you dont go batshit crazy and start acting like a lunatic, as far as god is concerned you're a o-kay

I feel the opposite.
Low mcap coins have less big players to manipulate the market, making it more honest (outside of rugs etc). They can mess with the broader market and move lowcaps with them, but its like the tides at that point.

>> No.58563303

>>58557181
I cope by saying that all markets are manipulated, and that there is no genuine price action or honesty in the market. But yes, generally I think I tend to agree. There are those that I think aren't waiting to rug, in which case it becomes like most other crypto--just another liquidity pool. There's a great danger in becoming excitable, feral, and idolatrous.
