just more institutions sucking off sergey's massive 8 inch throbber. the rate of institutional acknowledgment is picking up significantly though. hopefully we get a more normie facing institution next like jpm or blackcock.

remember when people were optimistic about the internet and how with perfect information there would be a utopian world?
or when the telegraph was invented and they thought that there would be no more wars and leaders could now communicate quickly and avoid misunderstanding?

it's the same with blockchain. there won't be a utopia with currency exchanged outside of government control

instead, the technology will be co-opted and used to make existing processes more efficient. this is what chainlink enables. it would have happened without them, just a bit slower. so if it's going to happen anyway then you may as well own a bit of it.

>> No.58534548

>>58534511
Also the crypto utopians failed. The open source side got so full of grifters that’s it actually stopped having the moral high ground against the tradfi side.

Yeah, the response to the BTC ETF confirmed that. Even Gensler was verbally confused as to why the BTC """community""" was applauding the ETF's approval.

yep it was disappointing but i think people are simply to greedy, there's too much temptation
need the institutions to come run this stuff
there was a larp here once who said until 2021, sergey wanted to provide a playing field and try to allow new entities emerge and disrupt "the system". we saw the chaos there... he kept his distance from sbf but celisus was his/their biggest misstep. they got burned badly
since then he just completely shifted focus to swift, dtcc etc

>>58534627
yeah it will be better in some respects
instant international bank settlements, cheaper
more transparency (when they allow it)
i think some of sergey's thinking from back in the day can come true too (see attached)
but it will also unleash monitoring and potentially control of money on a whole new scale
like with all tech, some good, some bad, some unforeseen

nah icp solves this.
you are just too lazy to research, and too attached to sergey.
btw inviting sbf to headline smartcon is not "keeping his distance." especially since he continued to invite sbf surrogates to barcelona.
i hold both link and icp, but one is more gay and dishonest than the other. good luck niggas.

>> No.58534694

i can honestly see this. arbitrum, celcius, bancor, none of sergey's efforts to play nice with the crypto industry paid off. on top of that the man subsidized the entire defi industry for years and instead of respect he gets a bunch of mentally ill people spamming every chainlink twitter post while grifters who contributed nothing to the space get worshipped. now if you want to work with chainlink you gotta pay up through BUILD or SCALE. no more equal footing collaborations.

>> No.58534717

>>58534694
icp solves most of the stuff you are complaining about.
btw don't buy icp. full of jeets, turks, etc, dom is exit scamming.

chainlink's youtube megadumped 100 vids a few weeks after barcelona. i don't remember the list, but i saw miguel the mutt of arkham batman.

after years and years of watching the mask fall off the face of crypto personalities who pretended to be all for the libertarian crypto dream, just to turn their backs to it and not only NOT DENOUNCE the overreach of the agencies, but securing themselves a position amongst the top rent-seeking parasites via MEV.

you know what? fuck them. fuck them all. not a single true crypto soul whacked by glowniggers was mourned by vitalik or any of these motherfuckers. we will get a piece of the pie via our massive LINK stacks. spare me the sob stories about "joining the enemy" that you have carefully crafted to try and goad me into selling my golden ticket. no thanks. fuck you. fuck these parasites.

>WHY WONT PEOPLE RESPECT THAT BUILD OBJECTIVELY GIVES PEOPLE ACCESS TO CHAINLINK PRODUCTS WHILE COMPLETELY CIRCUMVENTING THE LINK TOKEN

Yes, how disrespectful of the retail holders who gave Sergey this price in the first place to point out these flagrant issues.

>> No.58535632

>>58535561
first of all what the fuck are you even trying to say.

second of all chainlink's subsidizations ended up being the right call. it's literally what business in the real world do. build up a customer base first then profit off them. aave makes up almost half of chainlinks tvs, imagine if this random unknown oracle company tried to charge the biggest defi protocol on eth. they would've probably just made their own oracle like maker or uni. because of this strategy chainlink has most dapps hooked on their services which is perfect because now if they need a different service, like cross chain, why would they risk dealing with someone else when they know chainlink is reliable? look at aave going with ccip for their new stablecoin, look at kain from snx lamenting that they went with pyth's low latency feeds instead of waiting for chainlinks data streams.

third of all even with chainlink offering free price feeds and covering the exorbitant costs of eth fee out of pocket link still went from $0.2 to $50, a 250x. you're crying like free price feeds caused us to pull an xrp and only go up 9x or an ada and only go up 28x. sure we didn't go as high as sol or bnb but those were blatantly being manipulated by vcs and ftx/binance.

fourth of all, when i'm talking about people being disrespectful to sergey, i'm not talking about people criticizing his decisions or being angry at the disappointing price action, i'm talking about the mentally ill degenerates that spent every single day of their lives for the past 3 years spamming link fud, photoshopping cuck cages, threatening chainlink employees, replying to every single chainlink tweet with accusations of scamming. you have literal scammers like richard heart who don't even try to hide it who have communities that worship them and believe they can do no wrong. then you have sergey who is actually trying to build something that can change the world and he gets francisco threatening to shoot him at smartcon.

yesterday I came home from the gym horny as fuck bc some cute little asian chick was hitting on me there but I can't do anything about it because I'm married. So when I got home I asked my wife if she wanted to fuck. She said no, so I asked her if she wanted to give me a handjob. She said "do you really need to cum that bad?" I said "Yes" so she said she would let me fuck her just to cum. So she did, and I fucked her wet pussy and stared at her big fat tits and at my dick sliding in and out of her pussy until I ejaculated.
