You need 4m to retire. So no, you’re not “making it”.

why do you think it won't 10x?
is there a cap on gains at 7 orders of magnitude I haven't seen in the code?
I will liquidate all crypto at the next top in Q4 2025, then will DCA it all back in after the bottom in Q2 2027.

You should make it, unless you fuck it up.
Although I would reduce my BTC position, that is not making a 10x let alone a 5x

Nigger for a 10x, the global mcap would have to reach 27 trillion USD.
Just as a comparison, the total mcap for all gold in the world is about 15 trillion, and the total market cap for the NY Stock Exchange is 25 trillion.

Sure maybe crypto has the potential to overtake those things, but definitely not in this coming bullrun. Its too early for that.

No you don't, unless you think you "need" like $200k/year in dividends just to live

$900T total global liquidity rising faster than inflation
BTC is coming for most of it as fiat and central banks collapse.

It can definitely be close to gold. There is so much untapped gold out there bitcoin is infinitely harder.

the BTC is a counterbalance for my shit coins
I don't mind really if it takes 5 years to make it instead of one.
I got laid off from my comfy Director of Engineering role 6 months ago, and probably won't ever need to work again.
I've turned down offers for half the jobs I've interviewed for because I could smell the bullshit.
That's enough for now.

not my fault you don't know how it works. it took me a few years of gambling to understand too.

depends what making it is for you. You won't be able to retire comfortably but you will be able to act like a big swinging dick if you want, assuming you're relatively young.

I'll decide when it's time to DCA back in Q2 2027
Will probably lean mostly into BTC and ETH for the long term.
This is the last cycle where shit coin chasing will make sense for me, and the last cycle where I'm trying to liquidate at the top and DCA back in at the bottom.
if I time this one right, it should be enough to last until I die.

I'm not saying it wont, just that this bullrun is too early I think. MAYBE if cheeto man and alzheimer man heavily focus on crypto these elections, we can go parabolic, but other than that I think we would still have to go through another winter before we can overtake something like gold.

I don't disagree; but targeting a long time horizon of at least Q4 2025 for liquidating steadies my hand where I used to get twitchy.
If I don't make it this cycle, I have the patience now to wait for the next one.
