$10MM is NOT life changing money.
I have over $10MM and I still can't get laid.
Being a manlet is a living hell.

100k can be life changing if u have a debilitating medical condition
40k can be life changing if u need a car to go to work and have kids
15k can be life changing if u have credit card debt u cant pay back
on the other hand, if you had a job, a car, no debt, and live in an expensive area, even 500k will not change your life one bit. you will still go to work tomorrow. you still cant afford a house etc

I live in Nebraska. 500k is easily life changing money. even just 250k would be. it would allow me to get out of my shitty section8 apartment and leave my shit job to go to community college full time.

That's what Kara'S dad gave her after she graduated from MIT. She claims to never have to work again in her life and now her full time job is to shit on crypto influencers calling them scammers up and down while she makes money off that.
And I think with patience, 10k could turn into that by considering aping in on DePIN, RWAs and DeCC.

500k is enough in that situation to have 2 years off to work on starting a business. Even if you're in a particularly expensive area you'll figure out how to get by on 100k per year for 2 years, and use the other 300k to start your business.

She's a crypto bitch as well. DePIN like Peaq recently is a solid hub with projects building on top its ecosys.

Why does it seem like everyone and their mom wants to start a business? From my perspective I'm watching the majority of businesses fail, and among the ones that succeed I'm seeing the owners putting in way more hours of work a week than they did as a peon to keep it afloat for not that much more money. Then you've got the very rare success stories where they actually make bank and it becomes turn-key after a point, but on SOME LEVEL it's a gamble just like crypto or the fucking lottery.

Just invest that 500k and keep a decent job for a few years and you'll be able to coast in no time. Investments don't call out of work, open up competition across the street from you, or require constant labor/oversight. I'm doing just fine with my cushy tech WFH job and my fiancé's parents won't shut the FUCK up about me and her starting a "computer business". I get that some people need to be the king of something beyond their own household in order to feel good but surely there can't be as many types like that as this sTArt a BUSiness! vocal crowd implies

That’s complete horseshit. That’s 50% down on a nice/large residence even in a very high COL area. Cutting your mortgage by thousands a month doesn’t matter? Or investing at even 5% return is another 2 grand a month. That doesn’t matter? Even if you make $250k a year and save 50% of your income (which is super generous on both accounts) that’s 6.67 years worth of saving. Getting almost 7 years of work is nothing to you? Fuck off

No, but 2 M IS wife-changing money. The reality is that currently most /biztards (aged between 28 and 35) will never make it because they're still stuck in the past, while zoomers will just get richer and richer (just look at $ZOOMER already outperforming squid, the default millenial shitcoin), thats why to make it you have to adopt the zoomie lifestyle, sigma gronk style and all that shiiiii
