I have a confession

I always watch those people who lose their money fomo'ing into stuff, and those who hold their bags no matter what reason and logic say
and I always thought to myself what a bunch of undisciplined idiots
but I did the same..

>I bought 1700 DOT

I didn't even buy them all at the bottom on 6.25
I bought the rest 1000 dots at 6.50

I've been going through mood swings up and down like shizo since the beginning of this month
>when it broke 7 dollars I was celebrating
>when it dipped to 6.5 I felt like pic rel
>when it dipped again to 6.5 I thought to myself double bottom but it was just revenge a trade, i bought nearly 7000 worth of dot with a 100% limit sell order on all DOTs at 6.3 I was greedy...

now I'm feeling ok again but I got serious PTSD from that shit
I dollar costed, fuck that shit, I'm fine driving a supra fuck lamborghini

>> No.58478540

You were supposed to buy at $4.20 like I did.

I sold my Kusama after 3 years of holding and staking last week. What a waste of time and money. Never looking back.

>> No.58480597

I wouldn't worry, development is bubbling away, ecosystem activity and value is creeping up, 17% APY staking rewards are tasty as always. Hyperbridge is in open testing - polkadot being the only chain capable of verifying the state of external chains, snowfork is getting merged into the stack imminently, the first coretime sales were completed on kusama using lastic, apillon and tanssi are onboarding tons of new projects, universal ledger app is ready and waiting for the next chain update. UX is the primary focus of developers now so it's only going to get easier to use and navigate the ecosystem.

Polkadot is the only tech stack that is both scalable, fully secure and totally decentralised (the most decentralised of any major project), accord space will make crosschain interoperability fully atomic, and JAM chain is a paradigm shift for blockchain technology, and opens up new burning mechanisms for DOT. Soon you'll be able to run virtually anything on the polkadot network and pay for it with DOT - blockchains might not even be polkadot's largest revenue stream in the future. Idiots laud ICP as alien tech, when it's really just a bunch of permissioned servers - Polkadot actually does it.

look at the cope post above, who even knows what any of that crap is?
meanwhile icp already does everything, which is why every dogshit chain feels threatened.

Grim... my average price is 6.4$. What made you buy such a big bag at that price? I guess we'll hit at least the previous ATH, so you'll be fine. I assume you're staking

>> No.58481385

>>58481355
I bought the top, then averaged down at 10dollars, which was already an insane drop at that point. Why? Because I'm the average crypto gambling loser who is always wrong. (but the difference with most is at least I can be honest about it)

I am not staking anymore because I assume that staking is a trap for sudden price movements to lock people in from selling at the opportune moment

what makes you feel like we will get anywhere near ATH ever again? seems unlikely

>> No.58481500

Cardano is using Polkadot SDK for their "partner chains", they're fully cucked by Polkadot at this point.

>> No.58481530

>>58481000
Definitely Cuckdano, but that doesn't mean Polkadot isn't a VC scam chain.

>> No.58481901

Same. I have no idea what it does though, it was linked to QNT so I bought some.

58482597

Why does this have an animated (very cool btw) icon in coinmarketcap?

>> No.58482998

>>58482597
Because polkadot is introducing coretime sales which burns DOT for parachain validation rather than just locking it up in slot auctions.
