6 million is enough to stop working and also do whatever you want at all times to a normal extent. It's a guaranteed income of $300-600k annually. You could eat out for $100/meal every single day, take $50k of vacations per year, pay $10k/month for home/utilities and still have money left over, probably plenty of it.
