How legit is the privacy ETF speculation?

>The Index is comprised of constituents that have business operations that are related to the overall Data Privacy Segment , as defined by the five sub-themes, and derive substantial portions of their revenue (i.e., greater than 50%) from the sub-theme categories. Companies eligible for inclusion in the Index must be publicly listed on U.S., non-U.S. developed market or emerging market stock exchange, have a market capitalization of at least $250 million (USD), and meet certain liquidity requirements.

Im looking for reasons to be bullish desu, any thoughts?

even if it were true, it wouldn't make the price of rose go up. i'm basing this on past performance btw. remember emerald mainnet? coinbase listing? sapphire mainnet? OPL mainnet? illuminex mainnet? yeah...none of them made the price go up.

>> No.58442194

>>58442187
Emerald mainnet made it go from 20c to 60c, retard. Coinbase listing 20c to 25c. Illuminex mainnet 10c to 13c. Retard.

false. it was ftx leveraging the meta partnership to pump it up to 59c so they could short it. it dropped from 59c when it got listed on ftx and has never recovered to that price again. it literally dumped on the coinbase listing, you retarded nigger.

>> No.58445040

every shitcoin gets an outsized pump at some point, anon. Illuminex is probably a week or 2 at most away from private BTC swaps. That alone could get enough hype for a 100%+ pump.

>> No.58445137

>>58445040
Why? Private bitcoin swaps are already a thing on other platforms. The reality is that no bitcoin maxi is going to trust some random EVM dex and the liquidity is going to be shit tier anyways.

It really doesn't matter. The only thing that "pumps" this shitcoin is btc going up. Just pray for btc to break ath. Look at what happened when btc broke the previous ath. It went up to 18c. It wouldn't have done that on its own.

You don't need anons to tell you about the ETF speculation.

You can read the filing

TL;DR:
https://www.investmentnews.com/etfs/news/grayscale-places-bet-on-data-privacy-with-industry-first-index-etf-249806

Basically, provided ROSE remains about $250m we'll be included.

Regardless it will be included in PRVY because Grayscale has clearly accumulated around $150m of the supply over the past year.

It's also a company on U.S soil in silicon valley and has all the hallmarks of the next XRP of 2018. Ignore /biz/, it's all LINKcels. Follow smart money. Binance and Grayscale have gigabags in cold storage at this point and are accumulating every dip. Why? You'll see.

ROSE is also a tech coin and is almost certainly the most undervalued L1 you can name, especially as an American company.

I'd expect government contracts eventually, that alone would pump bags leaving out all the moonfags who will jump in alongside to get in on the pumps. ROSE post 2023 has unironically been the best bizcoin shilled on here.

And it's bullish for privacy coins because they're not actually indirectly buying digital assets (and then in turn selling them, like what happened with the BTC ETF flop).

This means investing in companies and crypto companies. Oasis Protocol is certainly within this.

and THAT is why Grayscale is accumulating $150m+ of ROSE, because this will clearly have a direct effect on it.

>The Fund will not invest in digital assets directly. The Fund also will not invest in initial coin offerings. The Fund may, however, have indirect exposure to digital assets by virtue of its investments in companies and exchange-traded vehicles (such as exchange-traded products) that use one or more digital assets as part of their business activities or that hold digital assets as investments. Because the Fund will not invest directly in any digital assets, it may not track price movements of any digital assets.

>> No.58445664

>>58445661
clarification: Oasis Protocol as in the Oasis company that holds, operates, the Oasis Network (ROSE).

It's pretty obvious what's about to happen, in fact it's written in plain English.

Privacy coins have never been bullish. We live in an attention economy, privacy is the antithesis of such a paradigm. Attention brings the liquidity. I doubt we would see any considerable pump from such an "ETF". Look at GLink, there's hardly any liquidity and it seldom had any negligible effect on the actual LINK token price. I think you're huffing pure copium and I say this as a ROSE bagholder.

I called and made the threads on /biz/ from 0.03 USD last year, we haven't experienced an altcoin bullrun of any sort yet.

Everything was just mildly pricing alongside Bitcoin.

and fiat all across the world is dumping like no tomorrow. Sell all your altcoins around December 2024-March 2025, that's my window.

Just because your bags haven't pumped doesn't mean its true. People are waking up to vc coins which means many utility projects have under performed substantially against non-vc heavy tokens. You are delusional if you think we haven't been in the midst of an altcoin run all along even if its PvP.
