also the simple http relay model doesn't scale in a censorship resistant manner. there's also no notification spam protection. i dont think it has a future unless they find solutions for both these problems.

the nostr guys seem to hate all p2p tech, including ipfs, saying it's "too complex", only difference is ipfs is a deterministic p2p protocol, it scales infinitely and has no spam or DDOS attack vector, whereas nostr doesn't scale at all and is a dead end unless they implement some ipfs/p2p-like concept in future versions.
