Taxes are unavoidable. But land has the potential to create wealth that offset taxes, while gold just sits there. Still the best hedge IMO. Everyone in this thread should own all 3.

in 2020 and 2021 when we had the worst inflation in 4 decades the price of gold went DOWN, but the cost of the premiums dealers were charging to buy it went up with inflation. That's when I realized that physical PMs aren't just a bad investment, they're actually a scam. You have to buy it from dealers at a significant premium above spot price, and you have to sell it to dealers below spot price. There's no other way to move it unless you find interested buyers/sellers yourself, but now that I see this for what it is I wouldn't want to sell it to anyone I know.

You have to work the land to make it into an investment, boomer. You can't just wait for the price to inflate. Flora and fauna managed on land will give a large profit if managed well.
