I think the short will be liquidated near instantly because there is no capital to cover the 100x loss if the price rises at all even a fraction, I'm also pretty sure you need more than a pathetic $10 on a short because of some premiums and fees etc

It dies work but you liquidated if the price moves 1% the wrong way and chances are you get greedy and don't take the profit when/if the price goes your way.
