Btc is unpredictable and gold has been due for this. Not selling my btc and not buying gold.

>> No.58377536

China is going to remonetize gold in a bid to dethrone the dollar. They are gobbling it up as fast as they can as they dump dollars. That's why they opened the Shanghai Metals Exchange that is now leading the LME around by the nose. This is just the beginning. It is going to accelerate as holders of dollars and treasuries run for the door. There will be a new world currency and it isn't going to be bitcoin.

Gold is lagging indicator (oftentimes by multiple years) for inflation and bitcoin is still nothing more than a giant speculative asset no matter what people wish it to be. It makes perfect sense.

China is actually buying gold and actually set up a metals exchange in Shanghai. Those are objective facts, not propaganda. How much gold China has is not known reliably. But it is a very great deal more than they had just a few years ago. That is not an accident. As to whether or not they are going to try and remonetize gold, MY opinion is yes. China has not, to my knowledge, said whether it will or not. So . . . not sure what you mean.

Look up the definition of money and then come back. Gold is money. It is fungible, divisible etc etc. You are a retard.

There can only be one money in the end, only the asset with the best properties to be money.

How long to pay someone on eBay with gold? Right. Gold failed. It also failed to remain the global reserve currency, and allowed our debt system to grow like cancer.

Failure. And inflationary. Only people above 50 can escape being called imbeciles, because it's hard to change life long habits suddenly.
